Need your help with Cooling problem-O

Good Morning, I have a 1989 FJ62 that has me vexed, if you have any clues, please send them my way.

My radiator blew out the bottom seam, so I ordered a new one and decided to change out the thermostat while I was in there. The lower thermostat housing split on me and I had to purchase a new one from the stealer. Provided gaskets were wrong, so I fab'd new ones myself with some handy dandy Mr. Gasket, gasket stuff. Now, when I go to fill the system withwater, and the engine NOT running, water is F L O W I N G from somewhere in the neighborhood of the water pump (the only part I haven't replaced. Now, I understand that the FJ62 water pump is a two piece unit, what could be the cause of the mysterious water leak? I mean, it's a very apparent leak, without the engine running, this is like a rivlet of water, not a steady drip, drip, drip. I am stumped. I also replaces all rubber under the hood to be sure.

Any and all assistance will be rewarded with great karma.

Thanx, please reply to rfc2307@gmail.com

If it's anything like my FJ60 was, there is a tiny little hose between the bypass hardline attached to where the water pump mounts and the water pump itself. The hose is about 3 inches long. I had one blow up and you can't see it at all without removing some crap above it.
