Go Cruisers!!

Hopefully I'm not the only cruiser on this board.

My cruiser is slowly evolving.
1971 FJ40 totally stock when I got it in 1980 (except for a welded on rear step bumper and aux tank)
Installed a 327 with TH350 trans about 1985
Have disk brake front axle I'm rebuilding before installation.
Have windshield, bucket seats, heaters, and more I got from a 78 in a wrecking yard.

Dave's First Recruit Checking in

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the invite.
A little about myself. I have a '77 FJ40 that I bought as a non-driver. I probably should have parted it out but decided to restore it instead. When I'm done It'll be sky blue sitting on 2.5 inch lift SUA with BFG mt's or MTR 33's. Front and rear arb's Pto or warn upright winch -have both can't decide on which way to go right now. The PTO is way cool but I wouldn't mind going with a Jim C. rebuilt aisin, non-us dist and header. Aux gas tank. In dash anti shock cd player 4k tach (who needs more for a 2F?) Can't decide on whether or not to refurbish some white wagon wheels I have or stick with the centerlines. I'm parting out a couple of FJ40's right now a 6/73 and a 2/79 if you're looking for something let me know.
Explaning the avatar; Someday Tonya will be all mine. Flying hubcaps and all.

TBI

My TBI is progressing OK. Slower than I was hoping. Just got the engine reassembled, working on the fuel and electronics now
