Do any of you Land Cruiser guys....

...use the 9005 or the 9006 HIR halogen bulbs in your headlights? I have heard a lot of Austraillian guys using them in their versions of the LC, but was just curious to see if any of you use them on here? I have the HIR H3 bulbs in my IPF driving lights and they are amazing!

HID = High Intensity Discharge

HIR = Halogen Infa-Red

Go here to read up on them, I would explain but I could go on and on...

I just got the HIR's for my FZJ80. I have yet to install them, but have heard very good things about them.

Yeah, it was just a curiosity thing. Like I said, I have them in my IPF Driving lights and they are wonderful. If I didn't have HID's and had a 9005/9006 bulb setup that is what I would be running for sure.

I haven't tried them yet but over at http://www.ih8mud.com there are quite a few that have them. Search for HIR's....
