69 landcruiser differentials
I was at pick a part earlier today and I ran across a 69 landcruiser, it's pretty well gutted but still has the differentials under it. Are they worth anything? Worth grabbing and reselling?

They're fairly desirable in some areas. But the 69 had four wheel drums, which would have to be converted to disc if someone wanted to wheel with them. Or you may find someone that needs an oddball piece of the drum braking system? If they're cheap, i.e. ~$100/each, and you have the room, just store them away. The axles could be needed by someone someday, the differential also. Heck, someone may even bend a housing and need the replacement that you have in your garage... Ya never know...
There are many things on an FJ40 Land Cruiser that are desirable. Barring any rust or physical damage: windshield frame, frame, steering components, trans and t-case, drive lines, fenders, quarter panels, running boards, fuse panels, steering column, seats, seat frames, fuel tank, leaf springs (guys like stock springs for spring-over lifts), glove box cover, the gauge assembly, speedo-cable, all the switches and knobs on the dash, fresh air vents(with springs), etc... Everything and anything is eventually needed/wanted by someone with a Cruiser. And a lot of folks are year model correct on their restorations. Make sure to get a VIN from either the door jamb or the driver front frame rail (starts with FJ40******).
That's my opinion anyway...
