get me some pics. don't tell my wife but I've already started ordering upgrades for it, . like the reverse module and heavy duty dog bones. I want to post on HPI's site to get a 3rd gen 4runner body made but they tell you not to suggest that stuff on there, ( http://www.hpiracing.com/rcforum/ ) I don't know what the problem would be but it seems they've been trying to figure out how to except suggestions for over a year now!

Any other suggestions on performance upgrades like pipes and muffler, etc? I want it fast. I guess it's over 40 mph out of the box but still, hehe. I plan on getting an R40 later on for the street speed but because of the price of the Savage, it's gotta do it for now.

Man, you shouldnt have bothered with the reverse modual... Its just extra weight and that savage never really needs to back off of anything.. I loved my litle savage. I turned the chasiss into a Z shape, and darn it i cant find the picture now. I would stock up on spur gears with that .25 also i burned thought some of those. I bent up a few dog bones, but mine came with extras and the steel was poundable. Have fun with that thing man.

thanks for the headsup on the module, that may get returned. hehe, I get to open it friday morning! she said that it could be my anniversary gift, so that she could open one of hers. hehe, whatever you say honey! All I know is I'm hitting the trails on friday with Savage in hand. probably stop by the hobby store tomorrow to pick up some dogbones and spur gears, don't know if I'll fiddle with ordering them online.

You can check out his truck here on his website:

http://www.wavejake.com/

Its also running an aftermarket engine, I forget which kind though.

Oh here is my mini crawler (TXT-1 jr.) that never quite got finished, but if I have spare aluminum from my current 1:10 crawler, I will build it the proper axles to make it work, but it does have some insane articulation for its size:

And that's his savage in the background

just like the gears in my runner's diffs. I've been reading up on the break-in procedure. man, sometimes I wish they'd lap these things since they are in an RTR kit.

Yep, that's the body I am getting as well, here's the truck with everything in position, where it will be when its all done. The top links wouldn't assemble correctly though.

The last one I ended up busting the front drivers side lower control arm. fixed it last night but I'll be ordering some hop-ups so I'll pick up a bunch of stuff then.

WOO HOOO

I just got me the Team Losi Mini T this thing is SOOO bad. I am in love. Its an awsome deal. My local track already has a race bracket for it. Ive had it for an hour and have my hop ups planed out. Great value too. I will put some pics up of my mine. For those that can not wait, here is a random retailer. I had mine on order for 3 or 4 months before they came out and my store says they will not see anymore untill after xmas.

Axial makes a pretty nice rig called the scx 10 trail honcho for bout 300 ready to run. Its no basher but not a bad crawler. Has a Tacoma-ish cab with a nice tuber rear end.
