Talking I have a radio control 1/36 scale Toyota Hilux prerunner!! PICS!! hahaha...

Well I had to get one of these...

I just so happened to have one of these....

So when I got the idea from another micro-t owner with a different tamiya baja-bug body on his micro, i promptly put the two of MY toys together to make this.....

let me know what you think! someday i'll take the time to properly mount the body and make some videos, it will be a long time but i had to post pics of what i had so far.... I love this little truck!! please excuse the bad stickers...previous owner didn't do them well and it is second hand so its worn out. i want to take off the stickers to make it white, and possibly repaint it and also get some white rims to match...

well thats it. i got stuff to do. hope you enjoyed the pics!

here are a few neat videos of them in action. NOT MINE... first has stunts, the second shows how fast they can be with an upgraded battery and a new motor... (about 20mph..stock is around 12mph)

My buddy's got a couple of those little cars. They're really fast and fun to play with. Badass that it's a lowered 4x4 Yota now.

thanks for the comments, and apologies to those who looked and didnt like it...its in progress but i thought i'd see if it was worth completing.

now losi has a micro prerunner truck with an extended chassis so i think i'll at least source the longer skidplate, bumper, and maybe the extended chassis to better suit the body.

then i'm going to get the rims, tires, and paint the body black and then paint on some grafics like are on the stock body, just on black, to match the rims i'll be getting.

here is the truck with the parts i'm talking about, compared to the truck i have, and a picture to see the rims it has. should turn out pretty nicely...sadly the bumper must be body mounted so i'm not sure what to do on that one. we'll see! oh and there is a 4runner body i'm thinking of purchasing that has the same level of detail if not significantly more since it's a road going car...but a 4runner prerunner like this might look goofy in terms of realism....
