Toyota Dual Transfer Case Cross Member and Mount

When 4x Innovations set out to design a new transfer case cross member we knew it wouldn?t be easy. After talking to may wheelers like you found out what mattered the most. Based on this we came up with this gem. Your new custom built cross member is designed to be low profile, but strong, and protective. This tube cross member is built from 1.5x.120 tubing to provide a great low profile fit, and durability and features 4 hard frame mounting points to help stiffen up your underbelly. These mounting points also allow it to stretch it?s reach and cover the bottom of the fragile cast aluminum transfer case and transmission housings that tend to crack if they meet face to face with a rock or hard place.

To help keep everything tucked up nice and neat under your rig we designed this cross member to use a new heavy duty transmission mounting bracket. This bracket replaces the stock mount with a new unit that houses poly round bushings to help eliminate play in your drive train. No more ripping stock mounts apart! By replacing the stock mount we were able to nest the tubes and the mount, meaning no valuable underbelly real-estate is wasted. As always, the new mount and all high grade hardware is included.

This cross member will fit your 84-95 Toyota pick up or 4 Runner that is or has had a Solid Axle swap. The stock torsion bars and torsion bar mounts must be removed. Don?t forget that 4x Innovations builds parts for YOUR truck, so customization for body lifts, 0-3 inches, is available FREE of charge! You can also order your cross member to be built for a 10 degree clocked transfer case, or a standard case.

Cost is $210 for the cross member, all mounting plates, hardware, and the HD transfer case mount, in either clocked or non clocked versions. To order you can use the online shopping cart here, or contact us.

For those of you who already have a cross member, but keep ripping your stock mounts; we have a solution for that too! Our stock replacement heavy duty transmission/transfer case mounts are now available!

We have just lowered the price on these! They are now only $210, including EVERYTHING you need to mount your dual transfer case (minus the welder, welding accessories and the actual dual transfer case, and a truck itself, lol).

Damn, All of the crossmembers I have been looking at say they don't work with the IFS setup. I have an 85 pickup with IFS And a 3 inch body lift. I am planning on lifting the drivetrain 2 inches atleast, Do you know what crossmember I could use? Is there any that you have fabbed up to work with IFS?

Sorry, our cross members do not work with IFS.

Call Bud at Budbuilt he should have a cross member that will work for you, and have him send you one of our SD tranny mounts and you'll be good to go.

Sorry, our cross members do not work with IFS.
I made it fit on my SAS conversion, single case. A hack here & weld there and it's installed. Check out my photo album and there is a shot of the underbelly showing it in action. I get lots of compliments on it.
