This was one area where I sorta liked the Dodge Dakota R/T over the Taco (except for that whole "Dodge" thing, bleh).

You first remove the front torsion bars & bump stops, Then go to the back & remove every leaf spring except for the main one, Then you need to cut the frame above the axle & weld a new section above it to create a step. That will do it!
That's what we used to do when we were young, we would drive along & scrape off the little dots in the road. Now a days I wouldn't consider such a foolish thing!
Seriously though,
I would just crank the torsions a bit & use some blocks in the rear.

Dude are you serious!?!? no torsions or bumpstops??? Holy crap you must have had a great dental plan.
EDIT: I love the way your truck looks. Could you post up some big pics? And maybe some pics of your old lowered trucks?

Whats with the coil overs? Thats strange where did they come from?
What would be safer? Drop blocks or removing a leaf? I like to drop the clutch and hammer through the grears thats why its still stock I don't wanna break anything. (This thing really is a sleeper lol)

lol, yeah I know, I "think" they are from an online off-road shop (can't remember the name!) but they are like $80. I'm taking them off though. I don't know if I have exactly how...do I remove the shock??? LOL

Thanks guys! lol. I was spinning the tire in that pic but it was probly the left tire lol.
91Toyota: I think the coil has seats that are threaded on the shock you should be able the unscrew them or get the coil off somehow and just use the shock alone. edit: yeah your gonna have to tke the shock off lol. Its really easy i just put new ones on the back of mine.
I want to drop the back but I have a long bumpy ride to school and I am very hesitant.
