so i found a cheap 87 carbed 2wd and was thinking about buying it and building a prerunner. i know all the kit ud buy are super exspensive. so i have a 91 3.0 4runner with a blown motor and was thinking why no just take the coil spring runner rear end and put it under the truck and it sould net me a bit of lift and can always go to longer coils later. then for the front could u just take the spindles off the 4x4 and cut the cross memeber and make the lower a arms longer(more travel) and use coils or coil overs in the front? has anyone tryed anything like this?
