85 XtraCab 2wd rear lift

I am eventually going to lift this truck, the rear end is located below the spring and I want to move it to the top, I can guess that you R&R the perches from bottom to top, but having never done this, I'm sure that there are other considerations when doing this. Driveshaft angles come to mind.....and I have a 3 joint/2 piece driveshaft.
I checked out the 2WD lift thread and found some good info, I like the lift spindle route on the front, seems best bang for the buck before I get enough dough for UCAs and LCAs
I found out long ago that humility was a whole lot better (and less expensive) than not wanting to appear dumb and doing something badly, any help and pictures would be greatly appreciated.

So if you treat this like I am totally ignorant I won't be insulted..............
