H&k Mk 23 ( Usp .45)
Not cool.... a Mark 23 and a USP 45 are vastly different....

That said, good choice in weaponry, either way.

My daily carry is a USP Tactical .45 w/ 230g Speer GD's or 185g +P Corbon's. I carry (2) high-cap mags in a mag holder on my left and the Tac on the right. I've got a can for it too...

I also own a Mark 23, and it's fun to shoot, but not practical for CCW unless it's winter.

Home perimeter defense weapon is a Bushmaster flat-top w/ a Surefire mounted on the shroud and an ACOG sight.... 30 round mag w/ SF (yes, it's a NFA weapon... full auto baby.) A Benelli M1 sits underneath my bed w/ an extended tube and 000 shot 3" shells.

I carry a Benchmade 9100 SBT Auto in my pocket too...

Hey there Jay!
Bob's right on the money. Last I checked there is a 30 day period between gun purchases and 10 days (?) waiting period between purchase and pickup for DOJ to run the background. That was a couple years ago though... not sure what the situation is now.

Here's my Ruger:

I've also got a Remington 870 Marine Magnum:

A Glock 23 and Sig 226
No pictures 'cause we all know what they look like

I've got a .20 double barrel side by side, a .410 break action, 2 .22's, a .308, and a brand new TC Black Diamond XR .50

But my weapon of choice, I have an extendable baton that sits in my truck. Non-lethal but painful protection.

btw... it's true. It's amazing how fast that arm flips up. Lotso force, momentum and other cool physics things going on.

Daily carry - Glock 26
Weekly shoot (or as often as possible - like tomorrow!) - Remington 870's, yes plural.
Other stuff - PA is great!

Concealed: Beretta 22

Home: Browning 9 Hi-Power

Coming soon: Semi-auto 12 gauge, not sure what

Question for you gun nuts. They're put away clean, but I'm wondering how often they should be cleaned when unused for extended times in storage?
