Post pictures of your GUNS!

Every proper Toyota forum needs a gun pics thread. Men like Toyotas. Men like guns. Guns and Toyota's go together like guns and coffee.

I just started collecting/ shooting a year ago now. Here are my few guns. Show us what you've got.

My first: Beretta 92FS M9A1. 9MM. Accurate as all get out!

A little update on my AR47 Pistol. Picked up the Magpul K2 grip and the enhanced aluminum trigger guard. The K2 is Magpul's newest grip. It is more vertical than traditional grips. Why? It's made for smaller personal defense weapons that are made for close quarters combat. It is more comfortable on guns that have a shorter length of pull.

Thanks buddy. They're also great at putting dents in AR500 steel.
I haven't shot steel in a while though. I can't wait to try it again.

EDIT: Rob, you're probably pretty familiar with a couple of my weapons considering your time in the service. Namely my M9 and the AR15.

You should get a 1-point adapter and sling. they're the bees knees, unless one is carrying multiple weapon systems... that's a different story though.

1 Point sling? Do you even operate, bro?

No thanks. 1 point slings are way over rated. I don't think I'd enjoy having a 9# rifle tapping me in my gonads.
I'm going to get a 2 point Sandstorm Sling for my rifle. I might possibly get a small 1 point slight for my pistol but that's about it.

Notice, I said unless one is carrying multiple weapon systems. If i was only carrying a musket with a 203, i always preferred a 1-point in country. For CQB style target shooting I like the speed of a 1-point. 2-points are balls and antiquated. 3 or 1-point for any type of sling, period.
Ha, operate. You're funny. XD

+1. If you know how to set up a single point, you'll never want anything else. Especially with even a small front load or chest rig. I "grew up" with a hand on it, always. Flapping around tapping my junk was never an issue. Even here, positive control, all the time. I'm not trying to talk down here. But the best thing you can do is research some good CQB instructor/courses. A good instructor isn't going to shove his way down your throat. Try to find prior asymmetric warfare guys.

Exactly. There were times when 3-points were best, but that's pretty much only the case when firing a smaw, at-4, or law. It's nice being able to throw your primary behind you and not have to worry about burying the muzzle in moon dust. And really a 1-point should be adjusted pretty small to keep said gat from bouncing into the twig and giggle berries. XD
On that note, I've always enjoyed long guns more so than their medium and short range brethren. The next time I'm in SA I'll see if we can go to the range and throw some man candy down range. I'm always up for that!

Well, I respect your opinion. Having never tried one maybe I don't have a dog in this fight. However, I've just never liked the concept of them.

Sure, some of the more liberal states are shoehorning laws through their legislature, but on the federal level nothing has changed.
That's one of the reasons why, after being laid off in Alabama, I haven't gone back to California yet. I don't like my rights being taken away from me.
Gun laws is a liberal state phrase. You don't hear that phrase much here in Texas.

Aside from that, I'm not necessarily worried about any alphabet agencies coming to take my stuff. I'm a law abiding citizen and as long as it stays that way I've got nothing to worry about.

Highlux, if you weren't already on any "lists," congrats, you are now!

Rowdy, sorry to hear about your hardware being stolen. How in the world did they take your safe?

I'm not too worried about "them" finding mine. I buy my dad's, and he buys mine. With the trust in the works though, they'll eventually know about some.

A late 50s to mid 60s sporterized G33/40. Much better in person. Re-barreled and chambered in .270 Win. Beside my evil gun collection, I find old rifles. Also have 3 Carl Gustav Swedish mausers in 6.5x55, between the old man and I.

When I visited CMP a few months ago I snapped a picture of these M1's before they got refurbished. I'd love to have one for myself but have never had the money.
