Looks a lot like the Thrush Welded muffler I used on mine. A friend used it on his 22R and it sounds great - has a nice deep throaty tone at idle and under load, but it isn't too loud when driving and isn't whiny at all. I would image that the FM40 is quite similar.

well sucks to be me !!
this engine turns out to have a slight "knock" at higher RPM .. runs like a champ , and noise not audible , but knock sensors don't lie !

so we are replacing the engine . Just when I thought it was out the door

replacement engine ordered

engine swapped and now running like a champ .. Erik has decided he wanted us to do the door skins as well , before paint
