I apologize if this thread is finding itself in the wrong place. If someone could direct me somewhere I can get answers I would greatly appreciate it.

On my 2000 4Runner 4x4 I currrently have:

• Front:
• OME 881 coils
• stock shocks
• 3" spacers
• 1" diff. drop

• Rear:
• OME 890 Coils (I believe... could be 891s)
• stock shocks

Million dollar question:

I'm looking to replace my shocks, but want to beef-up the rear suspension from sagging in the process. I'm aware OME lift kits will settle (as per the newbie tech thread on suspension), but want to add something in the rear that allows me to put weight in the rear and not have drooping.

What is the highest lift I can go without having to replace linkage arms, drive-chain, cables, etc.? What shocks would be best to ensure a beefier lift (realizing they are not weight bearing)? And if I wanted to stop back from sagging with gear/people in back what coils/airlifters/or shocks would be needed?

I realize that's a lot of questions, but I'm having a heck of a time finding the answers. If anyone can at the least point me to a thread or two it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Can also look into custom rear shocks or adjustable shocks
