you now wanna save pennies for a SC? you should have thought about that before you wasted money at your local rice burner store.

 

It was actually pretty easy, I just took my dash apart under the steering wheel (4 bolts total), and then pop off the piece around the key ring and there's the bulb! It's a type #74. It's an LED I got from www.autoluminattion.com

 

I did this as well except with the white LED and you just use a 74 LED bulb but the one I got was a little longer than the normal bulb so I t took a little wedging to get it in but it works!

Well I only spent a little on the ricer toys, about $200 max. The rest was on the radio and other tune up parts. So I really didn?t waist anything. Plus I knew that I would not be able to get the SC until next yeah anyways due to money issues..

Yep, makes it look a lot better and is easy to do AND CHEAP!

Yeah, it does put out a little light. At least i can drive home at night.

And well the secret is that it is my truck and i will do what i want with it no matter what anyone else says. So there is no reason for me to worry about what they say, just enjoy it and have fun!

i, unlike many of the negative posters on this thread, read the entire thing. so i know that you have since hiden the wires, taken care of the weird lookin lights, are going to be replacing bumpers and such, and have reasons for many of your modifications.

there are some things that i wouldnt have done, or would ahve done in a different order, but dude, i like it. 1-its a slick lookin runner, b-you could take that into the desert and redirect vegas traffic.

i cant wait to see the supercharger intro and everything else. should be intense. good luck, and i'll deff keep watchin this one.

Well with 150 replies you can't really blame them for not keeping up! It has been hard enough for me to do that! but i got to repeat myself over and over which i love doing so it worked out

With the blue light removed it will be a slick looking 4runner that is. When i put them on i looked at it and said that don't look right but i just had to try them. And they worked so well that it was hard to want to get rid of them. But they will most likly show up later in some kind of light bar so....

And actually i am surprised at how much it uses. It is not as much as you would think. Looking at my volt guage the voltage doesn't even drop until i have on 2 out of my 3 sets of extra lights. The radio, well it drops it just a little...

I can't wait for the SC either! I just wish it could be before next year (Stupud tax stuff...)!
