TacoTank's 1995 Tacoma Build-up Thread
#21
Quick update and future plans for the truck:
My UCA's have been excellent, put a few hundred miles on them since installation and the ride quality is remarkable compared to running a 2.5" lift with stock arms.
Actively seeking a 1993-1995 T100
The Tacoma will see two more major projects: First will be a new third member, rear end is starting to whine at 235K on the clock. Second will be a header, researching manufacturers and currently leaning towards Doug Thorley. However these projects will happen early next year sometime as I have started a new job and will be absent for a training period throughout the week.

Alright some updates:
As for things I need, the rear end is starting to whine a bit, shooting for a 3rd member rebuild, already have new bearings, don't think I will be purchasing a whole axle...thoughts on this? Never done it.
Things on order and to be installed on some days off come spring are an LCE header, new valve cover, and one of LCE's big bore throttle bodies. Considering a turbo and methanol injection, or just methanol...unsure yet. After much research, it seems a bit more complicated when trying to setup a water/methanol injection on a N/A engine. Will keep everyone posted, also just undercoated the truck last weekend for the winter, no rust for my frame!
