Pretty much I can monitor it more accurately my gas mileage from 55 to 65 goes from about 24-27mpg to 18-20mpg just for that extra 10 mph didnt know it was that much of a jump

that mileage is WAY too high...

On the hunt for a camper shell officially, bed box and bar will be going up for sale hopefully they will offset the cost of the shell a bit

you should have no problem finding a shell. any small-truck bed will have about the same footprint.

rear shock selection help on 2003 Tacoma xcab 4x4 2.7 l

I was hoping to get some input from members on replacing my stock shocks on a 2003 Tacoma. It's 4 wheel drive but it's only the 4 banger with a SR5 package. My stock shocks are toast. Too sloopy in the rear. Most of the after market shocks I see are for off road and towing. I do go off road but I don't carry much in my bed [nothing heavier than a 400lb quad] and I don't tow with my truck. Can anyone recommend a rear shock that is best suited to my needs? I don't want to make the mistake of buying a shock that's way too stiff. Thanks for your help

Haha sounds like you meant to make this a thread and not a post... mak is right rancho rs5000 are a great shock for a dd, good price as well we use them on our works trucks and ive seen them on many stock toyotas. Ive only ever had bilstiens 5125's on my Tacoma and so far I have no complaints
