CougarHouseGarage's 96' 4Runner SAS build

Ok starting the 96' 4Runner dune metallic build, I picked it up from a guy for $2800 with a bad fuel injector and he had wrecked it. Then slide hammered the core support out, put on tacoma fiberglass hood and fenders and zip tied the grill and head lights in. Now that I'm in possession of it Im going to restore it back to its original factory condition. Then I'm going solid axel swap it and put it on 37's, let's begin.

Here it is getting the windows tinted, first upgrade the day after I got it. The front windows had no tinting so I wanted to get it done right away. They put 20% tint on the front. Also, 20% over the factory tint on backdoor windows, quarter windows and rear window making all rear windows limo tint.

Color matched paint

I made a little head light bracket because of the fiberglass can't support it.

I guess I am more old school in that restoring is bringing the whole project back to a factory produced status.
Either way this thing is gonna be pretty frigging cool.

Yep.. Haha no. My axles and links should be here by the end of the month and then it's go time on this one. I've been in the process of trying to source a field monitor, in the meantime, through Burtman Industries but its been awhile since Jason got back to me.

Ordered my SAS kit from Front Range Offroad today. Afterwards I deleted the rear wiper and de-badged the tail gate, then took it to the body shop a block from my house and had the holes filled and the gate painted.

so I had to drive my IS350 around for a couple days

Heres my frame from the 2000 4Runner that I bought for its power train. I'm going to put my 4Runner body on it after I install the running gear.
