Yeah I see what you mean. I just really like the clean look of the clear bumper lights and the clear corner lights

That does look clean! I might have to reconsider...

BTW, how did you get that blue color for your lights?

I actually just replaced the headlight bulbs with some Xenon bulbs and I must say that I am really impressed with them. They are much brighter than the stock factory bulbs and they were relatively cheap. I bought mine from ebay for like $15 shipped which is much cheaper than HID's and Sylvania Silverstars. Although the bulbs are blue, the beam of light just has a slight blue tint which makes it easier on oncoming traffic.

As far as the fog lights...those are just some generic Hella fog lamps that I found on ebay. Can you tell that I shop on ebay a lot...? I also replaced the fog light bulbs to the Xenon bulbs to match the headlights.

Man, I got the ebay crazies too.

I also noticed you painted your grille black. How did you do this?

Now, about month later, the springs have settled some. It is about .5'' higher in the front though.

Have you installed yours? What are your results?

Update

So I searched high and far for a decent deal on 32x11.5x15, but I couldn't find anything. Apparently, the manufacturer has stopped making these.

Instead I have opted to go with 33x10.5x15, and I must say I am very satisfied with the look.

Next, some side steps and clear corners

Now, for the pics:

(my driveway is not very level and I still haven't replaced my lost camera... i apologize for the poor quality)

I am also thinking about blacking out the old 99 grille I have sitting in the garage, similar to the pic below.. what do you guys think??

Haha yeah I have found a ton of stuff for my truck on eBay! You really can't beat the prices and I have only had 1 bad experience with poor quality products, but the company has since gone out of business. That’s where I got my clear corners

As far as painting the grille, it’s really not very difficult or work intensive.
1) Get a scuff pad and scuff up the grille to give the paint something to stick to. Sandpaper works too but it the paint will come out better if you use a scuff pad.
2) Then put some acetone on a rag and wipe down the entire surface that you are going to paint.
3) Next, spray 2-3 light coats of self-etching primer.
4) If there are any scratches, dings, or dents that you want to fill then use some filler primer on the troubled areas. Sand the areas to blend the primer when it is dry.
5) If you don’t need or want to do the filler primer step then you are ready for paint. You can use just about whatever you want, Rustoleum works pretty well. Apply in 1-2 light coats followed by one heavier coat to make sure everything is even.
6) Follow up the paint with clear coat and you are good to go!

I have had mine painted for over a year and the paint is still perfect. Whatever you do make sure you use clearcoat because the first time I painted mine I didn't use clearcoat and the paint started to come off while driving in the rain at highway speeds.

By the way bizzyboi, what part of Texas are you in? (I can see the top of your license plate in one of the pics you posted and I recognized the new Texas plates...)
