got this truck 100% stock a few months ago, so far mods are:

2in BL
FRONT-2011 tacoma trd coils with 1in top plate spacer.tundra 199 brakes with black slotted rotors
rear-omu 891s with 1.5in spacer


315/75/R16 treadwright gaurddogs with hedge grip
16/8 procomp rock crawler rims
rear pro comp shocks
diff drop
aisin clutch
rear detroit trutrac 5.29 gears
front diff ADD is wired to a switch
tubed firewall (no rub on bumpstop lock to lock)
wired the ADD to a switch in the cab so i can put it in 2wd LOW

 

Thats a GOOD looking truck, man! I love 3rz 3rd gen 4runners

 

ya its my dd so i need the extra mpg

 

just had to change my rack n pinion, found the left boot full of mud.

 

made a winch mount out of some scrap metal i had.

love. the ride. what kind of mileage are you getting with the 3rz and 5.29's. Is it still a dog with all the extra weight on it?

 

no idea what the hwy mpg is but in the city its about 16. and enough power for me. im can pull a 17ft boat up to the mountains, slow tho

 

 

got some 285x75r16 for the street. rpm isnt too high going 65mph. up hills and around town they help mpg (with 5.29s)
