1998 4Runner SR5 Lake Champlain Edition
Went to go buy a 2001 Tacoma last Nov 2011. Drove an hour to take it for a test drive, after calling to make sure it was in and sure enough the dealer sold it a week earlier. So flustered and upset. The sales person said I have this 4Runner I know you're looking for a truck. So I said what the heck and took it for a drive. Loved that it was a 5 speed and it was a one owner with 111K on it. Well after a short test drive I was proud owner of a Toyota 4Runner.

Wasn't until Summer I started to really get into the truck and love it more and more.

Cut the running boards and took it out in the woods.

Then through a TRD Decal across the windshield.

Spray painted my chrome wheel well lip black.

Over all shot of the truck after.

I then, smoked out my tail lights.

Then needed tires for inspections so... lift time.
First thing in the mail was the ToyTec 1" diff drop

Then 32x11.5x15 wheels. and Rear Land Cruiser Coils

Then more begin to show up.

(I tried to lift it 10/24/12 but had to order new front struts. Should be here In a few days.)

Wheels came in 15 ProComp 55 Series. 3.75 BS

I then had to do a little shaving because I was not thinking and ordered a size down for cheaper tires not thinking about the caliper. Took, a little off the caliper and now works great!

Tires put on with a little rub. Not as bad as I thought.

And Last night I was bored, so I bought a gutter guard and mounted it to my grill. Turned out pretty good.

Now on my truck, and how it sits currently.

Thanks man. I wish it had a DL in it. Truck kind of found me more than I found it haha. I've owned it for a year to date. Its been an awesome truck. I've always owned Jeeps or some sort of Mopar product and couldn't be more ecstatic on Toyota performance. S/C some day, just gotta find the time and money.

Thanks man, I actually live in Dover, NH I just haven't changed the South Berwick yet. Small nice town though. As far as the coils go there were no junkyards in the area with anything I was looking for, so I googled "Land Cruiser front coils for sale, or junkyard". I ended up finding a place outside of Seattle for the pair shipped I got them for 80 I think. It was no easy task to find them, nor the front TRD coils. Had to go onto tundra forums and go into classified sections and do some posting.
