Zerk/grease fitting caps

I want to grab a few of these, but can only find them in packages of 100 or more online. I have no need for that many. Any one know where I can pick up maybe 15? I tried Auto Zone and they knew nothing about them. Will try Napa and Advanced tomorrow.

I want them to help me identify all the fittings more easily. I know they will get dirty, but even dirty caps are easier to spot than a plain fitting.
Do you think they will fly off the drive shaft? Anyone use them at all?

I had one more question but forgot what it was.

Perhaps you can buy 100 and resell them on the forums. Im sure some might be interested. I cant even find my zerks on the driveshaft. It seem if they dont have'em.

Yeah, if you get the big pack I'm sure folks here would take the extras off your hands.

I was thinking that. I just hate to throw away good stuff since I HATE having unused stuff lying around.

I think they are so inexpensive, thats why they sell em in bulk. I'd have to give them away since it's not worth charging for.
Maybe I'll just grab some of the old fleet that are going to the boneyard soon.

I have a few cases of Redline oil and I now want to change my oil every 1,500 miles since it's "just there."

I just use vacuum caps. Available at just about every parts store in reasonable quantities and prices. Some are even colored other than black

I had some of them on mine and i could hardly get the feckers off when i wanted to put grease in. Ended up using a pliers and snapped the bit form the cap to the hoop. Get some rubber ones.

Thanks for that info. I looked at some on the net and they look like they will work.
