Yippie!!

Ok, got my truck back today!! Turns out... apparently when i went into the mud, it made the timing slip. But, for some reason it only slipped on the bottom. The cam timing was unchanged. It was off two teeth on at the bottom and now it runs like normal. I'm just glad to get my truck back, now for getting the interior back to normal. Ok, question. My driver (obviously electric) seat will only recline. Won't come back up, or move back and forth. I looked under the seat and saw that when they put the seat back on apparently the alarm (which I had taken out as it was full of mud was jammed under the seat. So I have a feeling the back and forth is just not moving due that. The connector is kinda funked up. Is there multiple connections for the seperate motors? or does it split there? I guess I'll just have to take the volt meter to it and see what I can find. Havn't gotten the passenger seat in to see if that one is messed up, but It shouldn't be as it was higher and wasn't in water. Just happy to get my truck back and wanted to share!!
Hope everyone has an excellent friday night, its the last one of my freshman year of college... so I probably won't be up til late tomorrow :pat:
Later,

Are you pulling the seats and carpet out? I'd do that and get all the mud out. It will really stink this summer if you don't. Mud and nasty water smell. Maybe HP wash the carpet. Clean all the contacts on the plugs with contact cleaner (spray). Let it dry out as much as possible and then reassemble.

Good luck.

Glad to hear you got it back. It must have been killing you to be without it. What were you driving in the mean time?
