I can get the Bypass Kits from Amsoil with my discount.

Depending on what application you get I can get them anywhere from 86 bucks (BMK-12) to 151 bucks (BMK-13)

yep, bringing this back.

so say i ordered an oil filter relocation setup from amsoil, which kit do i get? there are some dual setups there, maybe i could just go with a single one?

also, just how much better would the amsoil one really be than permacool? i'm thinking about doing this mod, but if i do it i want to put in the best setup i can while i'm fiddling around in there.

honestly, the permacool set up will be fine. Amsoil seems overpriced on their set ups, even with the dealer discount.!

Boaz,

From one Amsoil dealer to another, yes, I concur (as I mentioned in post #9)

However, what I inferred in that post is that if you can afford the two filter Amsoil version, that is the superior oil filtering option. The problem of course, would be to find a suitable place to put it (esp inside the engine bay). For a wheeler who likes to rock crawl, there is no way i'd put it under the frame rail unless i had some kind of protective steel plate covering it
