Wrecked - Replace with T-17?

Some of you may know from my previous post that I was in a wreck last week that messed up my front end...The estimated repair for the damage is a little over $1,600. We're going to get it fixed, through insurance...However, most the damaged was done to my front bumper. The body shop said I would need to order an original crome bumper if I wanted it fixed. This would cost around $300, plus I have to replace the plastic shroud below it. I was doing some thinking, and decided - why not go ahead and buy an aftermarket TJM t-17 bull bar while im at it? Then i'd just need to replace my front right light and a couple other minor parts. After doing some research i realized the tjm bar isnt much more than what it would be to replace the original bumper.

I did a quick search and found one website that carried the T-17 for $399. Is that a good price for this bumper, and which places do you guys recomend purchasing the bumper from? I would just like to get an idea on whether or not this would work. My parents seem alright with it, we just need to talk with our insurance provider on whether or not they're cover the cost of replacing the original bumper, and then we'd pay the $100-200 difference. Have any of you guys delt with this sort of thing before? If it'll work then sweet, i'll be glad for once that I wrecked....hah

Any help would be great guys, thanks.
-Micah

Well i just heard back from my insurance provider and it'll work out fine if I go ahead and use the money to replace my front end with the TJM T-17 bullbar...I definately made out lucky on this one. All I owe is the $250 deductable and thats it. And while its in the shop, the guys are gonna go ahead and install my OME lift kit too...Once thats all done I just need to run down the road and have my 285 Destination MT's installed and i'll be set.
