Wiring Connector Part Number
Hey, everyone. I've been browsing this site for a while and it has been a huge help in swapping a 3.4L into my 95 4Runner. So far I haven't had to post because all of my questions have already been answered. Until now.
The donor engine had some of the connectors cut off the harness and so far I've been able to make do with the old connectors from the 4Runner. The only one I can't find or make work is the connector for the vapor pressure sensor (VPS). It's marked as connector V8 in the EWD, but the stealership can't give me an actual part number and I can't find it here or on any other site. Could one of you do me a HUGE favor and give me the 5-digit number off of their VPS connector? Thanks.

D'oh!
Oops, newbie mistake. The donor engine is from a 97 Tacoma 4x4 MT. The connector I'm looking for is part of the engine wiring harness where it branches off on the rear driver side of the engine. It plugs directly into the VPS.

If you have the EWD, there is a chapter "Part Number of Connectors" at the end. Look up V8 in there and voilá.
I'd do it for a 4Runner, but I don't have EWDs for Tacos.
Otherwise, you can look it up in here, if you know what it looks like:
http://wilbo666.pbworks.com/w/file/fetch/48443657/Wire%20Harness%20Repair%20Manual%20%28RM1022E%29.p df
Go to the section on 3-Pin plugs and compare to the female until you have a match. This will also tell you what repair wires you need to go with the connector housing.

Interesting in typical Toyota Fashion the 97 3.4 in the 4Runner and Tacoma don`t use the same Vapor Pressure Sensor if what the OP is saying is correct
The 97 4Runner EWD shows a 2 pin sensor for both the 3.4 and the 3rz
the 2000 Tacoma has a 3 wire sensor for the Vapor pressure sensor go figure

Thanks, TheDurk. When I downloaded the EWD from Toyota I somehow must have missed that chapter. Looks like 90980–11143 from that doc matches up with the EWD, though. I'll see order one and see if it works.
