Is there a difference between a 98 and an 01 rear wiper motor?

There are 4 wires going into the 01 and 2 in the 98. What's the deal? Anyone know what wire colors mean what?

 

if you find out, let us know. someday i plan on putting a 3rd gen or 4th gen, whatever theyre at now, wiper motor on my truck so the wipers can keep up in the rain. i just dunno if the 04/05 motor will work with minimum mods in an 88.

 

Actually the wiper motor was the same. I got a little turned around. It the locking acuator I guess.
