FINALLY got my newest mod, and installed it this weekend! Just in time to see crappy ND get beat by my beloved Boilermakers!

ANYWHO, I will try to snap a few pics! Just excited to finally have a winch!

What winch did you get? How did you mount it (what bumper do you have?)?

I went with the new 9000e from Milemarker. I have it in my TJM
T-17.

It took about 1 hour to do the whole thing. The worst part was taking off the bumper, and then bolting it back in with that heavy winch in it.

Cool- I've got a TJM as well, and have just begun to think about winches. Where did you get it, how much did you pay, and did you go with synthetic line?

yes, what Mad Chemist asked is my same question. sounds good, you'll have to post some pics to cure our thirst and hunger.

hahah rob don't be jealous because I have a runner, and you still drive a Rav4!

I got my winch from www.nationaloffroad.com for 449 shipped. I went with the steel line, but I plan on switching to synth. line from Rockstomper.
The steel line weighs about 18 lbs, while the synth line will be close to 5 lbs. so I plan on switching ASAP.

I would just rather spend my money on a snorkel than on synth line right now...
