Will it void warranty?

i got another notice to take in my double cab for the fuel hose recall so im finally gonna do it. my question is if they (toyota) pops the hood open and sees the deckplate mod and the ISR mod, what will they say? will they try to void my warranty, or should i just put the silencers back on the be safe.

nah, don't worry about it.

They'll do whatever work on the recall and give it back to ya.
If you have a problem down the line they may try to link it back to your mod (if it's related) but for the sake of the recall you're golden.

If this is the Fuel Filler hose issue they might not even open the hood. The problem was that the body (or bed) seam that goes over the filler hose could wear on the hose or sever the hose in an accident. They just put a piece of trim on the body to protect the hose. Kind of like the function of a grommet when running wires through a firewall.
