It is actually a two part epoxy paint made just for painting concrete floors. It is incredibly durable. I have dragged stuff across mine and it doesn't scuff at all. The best part is, if you spill anything on it, it just wipes up. I need to mop mine out, but have just been too busy lately.

You can pick for most any color. Mine is a light gray, but they pretty much have any color, even red & blue. When you do the muratic acid wash, it etches the concrete and gets up any old paint or oil. Then you mix the two part and just roll it on.

Hey Matt! Nice House! Congratulations on the purchase! You'll be very happy with the area as long as you stay away from the Galleria!

I used to live over by the Galleria in a condo, but since I work out on 280, that got old really quickly. We just moved into our first house in Greystone and love it. I'm only 7-8 minutes from work - no matter how bad the traffic gets...

Oh, and JGage - that's what we WANT you to think - that way fewer people transfer down here... lol

I assume that this is a good representation of your misconceptions???

Last year, I was in debt paying off 4Runner mods and alot of stuff that I don't even remember. This year, I'll be in debt paying off a butt load of furniture. For those on here that are a little older, does it ever end!?!?!?!?!?! Later.

The funny thing is that you haven't gotten married yet. Then you will really know what financial pain is.......... At least I don't think you are married since that wasn't the first thing on your list.......

If you want to come by one day to check out the floor, you are more than welcome to, just let me know ahead of time so I can clean it up.

The fun (debt) never ends!

You think getting married takes a bite out of your "mod" money, just wait until you have KIDS!

But I wouldn't trade the little boogers for all the 4Runners in the world!

No it never ends... Until you get too old to enjoy it. I noticed you don't have neighbors yet, that can be fun. That is one of the only things that stinks about buying in a new division and your one of the first, you don't know what kinda people your going to get stuck with.
Keeping after the yard is always fun, not.

Another bad thing about being the first is that they are working on all the other houses and the streets are always either dusty or muddy.....

And on Saturday morning when you're trying to catch up on sleep they are banging hammers and using electric saws right outside your bedroom window. .
But hey you got a really nice house and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Beautiful house, Matt. Congratuation. I like that sideway garage. I just built my house about a year and half ago, it is nice owning a house but there is a lot of works to do.

How big is it? 1500-1700 sq ft? Does it have a basement? That house will cost in the mid 200G in my area.

Good purchase.

Like everyone else said, congratulations on such a nice home!

When's the house-warming party?
We could celebrate in the empty lots surrounding your home!

Congrats, Matt!

My wife and I just put a contract on a house here. It's brand new as well, and it'll be our first home. SHHHHHH!!!! Don't tell anyone, because we haven't even told our families yet until everything goes through.

I'm so excited about it-- it'll have 4 acres with a creek running behind it. AND A GARAGE!!!! Holy crap, I'm so tired of working on my truck in the apartment complex parking lot.

Anyhow, best of luck! I'll have to post pics when it's done and I can borrow a camera.

Congratulations Matt. I know that you'll be glad to 'put down your roots' for a while. Moving that much sucks. The house looks great! I think that your neighbors will be happy.......just parking the 4Runner in the driveway increased your property value by $30K.

The house is about 1800 square feet and it doesn't have a basement. It's definitely not my dream house, but I am very excited about it. Momo, I would like to come by one day and check out that coating. I will shoot you an email in the coming weeks about it. Thanks for the compliments guys. Later.

Matt

Man, 1800 is perfect... Mine is 2570 and I don't use half the rooms in the place.

FWIW: I made the builders pressurewash my house after they finished the houses on either side of me. <G>
