I dont have the factory locker but I jumped on mine because it was the Anthracite metalic with the 5spd and sunroof I wish it had the locker though guesse I'll have to just put one in....

 

This thread is interesting because I picked up a 99 4R off EBay last year about this time with V6, 5 spd, 4X4, factory locker, sunroof and supercharger. It had 140, 000 miles, but was a Texas truck with no rust and in great shape except for the being keyed on the drivers door. What I find interesting is that I bid on this truck 2 to 3 days before the end of the auction with a bid that was well below the wholesale bluebook and there were no bids after mine. I was pretty happy to get the truck for that price, but after seeing this thread I would have expected more action on a 5 spd with a locker.

 

5-speed 3rd gens aren't that rare, I've owned two of them. I can always find one on craigslist. My friend owned a '03 double cab Tacoma 5-speed with the e-locker, talk about rare.

 

I have a 2000 5 speed v6, e-locker runner, but i had to drive it in from out of state as there were no 5 speed v6 4 runner sold in Cali after the model year of 1999

even fewer made where the 2.7L, 5speed, E-locker that was not a trd tacoma

that sounds like a most excellent example of a 3rd gen-do you mind saying what the price was? Do you have the leather seating? was it a Ltd. or SR5?

I'm pretty sure there were no limiteds with a manual tranny right? I've never seen one.

there are no 5 speed limiteds.

 

In response to Ron Helmuth. The price I paid was $7701. I think at the time the KBB was around $8300 and that was with no allowance for the supercharger. I suppose it's much less right now.

It has cloth seats and is a SR5.

Its sooo crazy to see so many different options for 4Runner's. Obviously I got screwed cause I got an SR5 with nothing....except 4x4....no flares...no locker...no leather....no anything. Just your basic 4Runner. Its soo sad....as soon as I get one from my uncle...I found about 4 that were better. And the same year...2000 5spd (last year produced) with e-locker and leather, flares hood scoop......I think I should just sell the one I got now and get a Hilux-Surf or something....i'm just dissapointed with what I have...compared to everyone else's...and the price I paid :S :argh:
