AOR=bad
Alcan=good
From what I've heard lately Alcan's turnaround is usually a couple weeks or less, AOR's is anywhere from a few weeks if you're lucky to the people who placed their orders last October and still haven't gotten their parts.
Be sure it's (full custom springs) what you want and need though, AllPro sells good springs too (not as good though IMO) for less and you may even be happy with an add-a-leaf or shackle lift.

Personally if I were you I'd go the cheaper route for now and if/when you decide to get serious about wheeling then go ahead and break the bank (god knows I have) at that point since you'll have to go through it all again for the extra lift you'll want.

I agree, and nothing bugs me more than buying something, expensive or not, and then finding I want to replace it because its not everything I want, but its still good/works. So then its either sell it for a loss, or hold on to it, and I just aint got enough space

If I was going to get new springs I would probably go with National Spring. Has anyone ever heard of these guys? I've heard they will make custom springs for just about any application, and they use extremely thin leafs so you get a very plush and progressive rate ride. Just an idea!

The rear of my 85 4Runner sits a bit lower then the front, exaggerated by the lower wheel well cut outs.
I picked up some Downey HD lift shackles to bring it back up to near stock height. I don't want to spring for leaves yet because I don't want to lift it until next year.
I'm putting them on soon and will let you know how it goes. I'm expecting less then 2" of lift, which should put me just slightly above stock height and give me a bit of rake.

Cool, I'll be interested to hear how it works. Maybe you can find a rock some where that is just as much as your stock set up can handle, then put on the shackles and see the improvement. Just a thought
