I think the downey's would be as good as any choice. I have not heard bad things from the people that run them.

As far as the surf flares....you're talking about the rear right??? Your not going to be able to put flairs on your glass fenders.

Oh yeah and notice that the truck in your picture is the rarely seen 2 door second gen.

I tried the Downey (which according to Jim at Downey are Hanaman sp? ) I didn't like the fit. I took them back. I am going to try the glassworks ones on my 88.

So right now I'm deciding between the Downey's and the Hannemann HF2004's.

Yes, I meant the flairs for the rear. The main reason I'm getting the fenders it so they are already wide enough and have a big enough wheel opening for the bigger tires.

Ya, those 2 doors are pretty rare. Ive seen a few around here though, but not lately.

Thanks

Cappy KD- That's really cool that they took back the fenders after you drilled them for install and everything. That is unheard of to me.

Hopefully you do better with the glassworks fenders, but remember glass is never perfect. And when you finally get perfect glass, you roll it. Just kidding.

I hadn't drilled them only lined them up for fit and had bad gaps. Downey was great! I highly reccomend them as they stand by what they sell.

As stated earlier the Hannemann and Downey are exactly the same (Downey sells Hannemann) But the Glassworks are different.

I had glassworks on my ranger and the fit real well. I also have friends that have hannemann and they say it takes a bit more time to get them to fit well.

Before you buy anything, call the guys at www.toyotafiberglass.com. They are a small company, but do PHENOMINAL work... and I've heard of none of the fitment problems often associated with 'glass.

Based on the numbers on thier site it looks to be 500.00 even
150.00 per fender and 200.00 for the hood.

I forgot what I paid, I had Protrux do everything and they worked me a sweet deal.

Sorry, they are more of a square opening.

I think they really enhance the stock lines

With 33x10.50's, and the seam hammered back, I have never experienced rubbing. Take in mind that my JD kit moves the tires forward 3/4"....not much but it all helps.
