where to find shorter bumpstops?

does anyone know where i can find some shorter rear bumpstops for a 3rd gen 4runner? better yet, if anyone has replaced the stock rear bumpstops and has a part # or where to get them.

Is your 4runner lifted at all? I thought the idea was to EXTEND the bumpstops so coils don't get over compressed/extended. But if you have the conical bumpstops, you can simply cut them.

Depends on what kind you have and what you are trying to do with them. Do you have bumpstops inside the rear coils or only on the frame? What year 3rd Gen? Have you had the spring recall done? Read here:

actually my truck is lowered. i need a shorter bumpstop above the axle, since i have less travel. on other cars that i have owned i usually trim the bumpstops, but they are actually on the shock body and are either made of foam or rubber. ive seen some universal bumpstops, but i was wondering if anyone has used a shorter bumpstop that bolts right in.

There aren't any that bolt right in. But you can find some that will work if you do a bit of modification. Go here to see a selection of bumpstops. There are several on that page that would work for you.
