I just called the Autozone up the street from my job, and they told me the yellow top is $119.

Looking at your red top prices, it looks like I might need to head down the street after work.

I was at COSTCO yesterday...

They had the red top for something like $95, and I know they had one of the other ones. I just can't remember which color it was. I want to say the yellow but.

When I was looking/pricing the optimas originally, ORW was asking $140 for theirs, needless to say they didn't receive my business.

Last time I was there, they had a few yellow, red, and blue tops available. I picked up a red for I think it was $95, and a blue for my boat. They had some of the best prices I could find.

 

Probably a dumb question, but wasn't there an orange top that had flip-flopped posts? Is everyone with optimas extending their cables?

 

The optima orange top is the exact same thing as a Red Top but the posts are reversed. When I bought my battery the guy (don't know how reliable) said that people didnt like the orange color so optima did away with them and just added a model of the red top with the posts reversed called the 34R model.

I just contacted the nearby Autozone and they have a red tops selling for $109 US.

 

ok, from what I can gather there are red, yellow, blue and used to be orange top Optimas, correct? What are the differences in them? Yellow sounds to be the better of the colors, can you get it with the reversed posts?
