When to replace timing belt for my 2001 4runner?

Hi All,

I have a 2001 4runner and it has aprox 95,000 miles on it. One of the guys at the dealer said that I should replace the timing belt right about now. I need your suggestions for a few questions:

When should I replace the timing belt?
Is it better to have it done at the Toyota Dealer?
How much does it aprox cost to get this done?
Is this something easy that I can just help from a friend?

Thanks for all your help!
Henry

Ditto....definately replace at that mileage.

Here is a play by play so you can see if you think you might be up to the task:
