When did they move rear seat back?
When did they move the rear seat back a few inches in the 4Runner.
I had a 95 before and now with the 2000 there's considerably more leg room and cosiderably less cargo space. I was wondering if all the 3rd gens were like this, or if it occured toward the end of the 3rds.
No biggy, just curious, and couldn't find a straight answer.

I think it started in 96 with the first 3rd gens - to give the rear passengers more leg room.
I had a 93 and noticed the difference when I looked at the first of the new 3rd Gens at the dealership back in 96.
I still have "Tailgate Withdrawls" after trading in my 93 for a 2002.
