both would be painted black so ignore the condition. the old cruiser ones come with 275/60r16's...thats aa weird size? what does that equal to in inches? would they be smaller then my current 265/70/r16? and, would the top ones be bigger at 265/70R17?

Do you not know how to calculate tire sizes?
the first value is the width of the tire in mm. the second is the aspect ratio which means the sidewall height is "x" % of the width. so 275 x .60 gives you the sidewall height in mm. You convert to inches, multiply x2 and add the rim diameter.
275/60-16 = 29
265/70-16 = 30.6
265/70-17 = 31.6

The landcruiser wheels are 16's and are definitely the better looking wheel. The other one's aren't terrible though.

I really like the LC wheels, but the cast aluminum style is starting to look a little outdated. I'd get the wheels in the upper picture (FJC, right?) - they'll look good for a lot longer.
Good luck!

Top one for sure. Second one is quite a plain looking design, but i'm sure they'll be cheaper!

It's called a "Classic" style.

I am in Ron, get both if you can afford them....that way, you can change them out when you go wheelin and then change it whenever you are not wheelin. You won't have to be scared to scratch the FJ wheels whenever you do go wheelin.

michalik_piotr, I don't know how hard you wheel your 4Runner, but if you do any wheelin' at all, I would stay away from the FJ wheels. Reason being, the outside of the rim is not recessed like that of the LC wheels. Therefore, the FJ wheels will be more prone to scatches and what not than that of the LC wheels.
If those were my only 2 wheels to choose from, I would opt for the LC wheels...even though they are an older design. I simply like the look of deep-dish style wheel and the advantages off road they offer.

Good luck either way...both are a nice set of wheels.

Get the FZJ80 wheels in the second picture. They have a little less backspacing im pretty sure so your stance will be a little wider. I really dislike the FJC wheels.

oh man! just when you guys had me convinced of the newer ones (ya, i know the other ones look outdated) now i'm back to sitting on the fence b/c of the back spacing! i like the "classic" comment too! I already thought about the scratch factor of the deeper LC rim vs. the fj when offroading but... i don't "wheel", my wheeling consists of gravel/dirt roads and beach dunes, maybe a little mud. (but i don't cruise malls either). i live in the city not suburbs so this is a very urban truck, worse thing would be curbing them while parralel parking, haha.

is the back spacking on the FJ rims the same as the 5 spoke limited rims (what i have now)?

I know i've seen pics of 3rd gens runners with both style of wheel on here, anyone have them to post up? thanks

one set of these rims will be at my house tonight for sure!
