Whats a good price for this

Someone in my neighborhood is selling a reg cab 4cyl 4x4 pick up from the late 80s. It doesnot have the solid axle in the front. The bad news is it has 176,000 miles on it. It is also covered with rust with 7 holes on the bed. I was just wondering what you all thought a good price would be for this. I havent called yet.

I would offering him $400 tops, and then try to part it out and get as much money as I could out of it.

ya, the popo will be giving you a VI as soon as he sees that thing and then you are SOL. honestly, $1000 would be the most that I could see it selling for. If the frame is rotten, then it's nothing more than a parts truck.

No more than $250, all depending on the parts....
