Okay the guy emailed me back asking me to make him an offer. so so far the only suggestion is 450. now is that low or is it pretty fair. i dont have a lot of money so i definently dont want to pay too much. do you guys know of any cases where they have gone cheaper than that. i have that money but like i said i want to get it for as cheap as possible. so i was thinkin to start pretty low because i dont know how bad the guy wants to get rid of them or anything. so what would be a low but not a laughable price.

To be fair to the seller, consider how much it will cost to ship the thirds. A front IFS third is kind of bulky if the axles are still bolted on.

lowball him, see what he says... in trying to buy used stuff from someone, always try to do whats best for you....

i would check out marlin's bulletin board... they have tons of stuff for sale on it all the time, and it would give you a pricing reference

okay on marlin i saw a lot of them were going for 100 each. some were cheaper and some were more expensize. the more expensive ones had lockers and 5.29 gearing and stuff liike that. the only problem is most of them were 4.10s. so i was still thinking of asking them for 200 and go from there.

That would be a good plan. You now have a baseline to start from.
