Don't worry, I understood as well.

Wait, isn't there a search button?

BFG A/T's are awesome , but overpriced.
Yokohoma Geolandars are great too.
Michelin LTX are good.
Goodyear HT/S aren't bad.

Tirerack.com has some good comparisons. Probably the best on the net.
Here is for Highway All-Season:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...y.jsp?type=HAS

and for On-/Off-Road All-Terrain:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey....jsp?type=ORAT

With that said, I run the Michelin LTX A/T (not M/S!) and they wear great (currently have 66K on them on my 4Runner and lots-o-tread left), they do good in the in the rain and snow and are fairly quiet. But they are $$$. You get what you pay for.

I would not hesitate to run Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo (don' get the non-REVO's...), Firestone Destination A/T, Pirelli Scorpion ATR and, of course, Michelin LTX A/T.

edit: I do want to add that going with 265/75-16 instead of the stock 265/70-16 will give you more choices as not everyone makes the 265/70-16. The bigger tire will look a little better, won't rub and is only 3% bigger so the speedometer is still close.
