Question what is that thing under my passenger seat????

since i've never actually taken my seats out, i was wondering what that "fan" looking thing is under the passenger seat. the driver seat is completely flat but the passenger seat has some strange looking thing under it. i was wondering if this is something that can be easily removed for an (x-box/amp/computer) installation underneath it?

any help would be greatly appreciated

it's the heater for your back seat...You will see the switch behind your center console

yeah jason, i do have that behind my console. so i'm now assuming that it IS the heater for the backseat. is it easy to take that out (not on the console, but the unit from under the seat?) and since that heater is separate from the heating system of the car, does it heat up faster or slower than the main heater? It's getting frickin' cold up here in pittsburgh, and the quicker the heat comes in, the better

Well it uses a separate unit for the rear. If the rear one is on full blast, it doesn't take away anything from the front one. The air flow from the front won't be slowed down or diminished. I would just leave it there. You mainly only want it on for rear passsengers only.
