Early this am, I was doing first oil change (major PITA, IMO). The first bolt I tried on the front immediately broke with minimal effort. In other write-ups, I've read they are 12mm, but, I only got the 1/2" to fit. However, when I tried the 1/2" on the other front bolt, it wasn't snug enough to turn it, and I couldn't get any others to fit. Lastly, the tops of the bolts are hidden, so I couln't see how long they are, maybe 1"? Any help is greatly appreciated, I'm getting ready to go by Lowe's and Home Depot in a little while. Finally, is there a recommended method to remove a broken bolt out of the frame, I can feel the top of the bolt, but not sure if I can get anything to grab and twist (I have fairly basic tools at home, nothing etravagant).

Thanks, although that isn't very encouraging as I don't have any of these type tools. Guess I'll have take it to the stealer or a shop.
