what size jumpstarter to get?

anyone here ever use the portable jumpstarters? wonder how big of a one i should have? i got a 300 amp one for xmas but i'm afraid that it isn't big enough because my truck has a 350 in it. if it was just the 4 cylinder in it i wouldn't worry bout it.

Cool, thanks for the info. I won't worry about returning it then.

well i had to use my jumpstarter today. i only got 2 jumps out of it and then i was screwed. on the first hill that i had to use the winch on i killed the battery. the truck died shortly after that and i jumped it the first time. after that i got stuck in another hole and had to use the winch again. it barely started the truck and my battery didn't have enough juice to use the winch. luckily there were some other people down over the hill so i unloaded the 4 wheeler and went to get them to pull me out. i'm going to take the 300 amp one back tomorrow and return it for the 600 amp version. i think them i'm going to setup another alternator with a battery just for my winching needs. then i will never have to worry bout it again.
