Hi Gang,

I just picked up an 88 4Runner...and it's a beauty. Only 70,000 documented miles on her!! She is in great shape, and I must say it is by far the most fun vehicle I have ever had.

I want to put new front seats & console in her. The old seats are not too comfortable, plus I want to move them back a hair to get a little more legroom.

I did a search, and you either find nothing specific to fit the Runner, or custom seats that generically fit anything. Has anyone out there replace their seat?? What did you use and how did it turn out?

Corbeau makes some really nice seats, they are really comfortable.





I also like Beard Seats, they are really for Wheeling as they don't recline but really hold you in place.



I have tried out both seats, and they perform well. I think both companies make rails to fit most 4Runners.

A lot of times you can pick up some good racing type seats on ebay for really good prices. Do a search for Sparco and you will get a lot of hits for the different seat companies available.
