1600x1200 here on a 19" monitor. I personally love this resolution for online gaming like Unreal and Counter-strike(the best game in the world)

so what kind of goodies are in the mix?

i'm in the over 1024 crowd, as my vote in the poll would suggest. as a web designer, 800x600 is a pain, you have to design pages for the lowest common denominator if you want it to look good for everyone. i can see you realize if most people have a better size resoluion, that opens up some doors.

My home machine is 800x600 because I watch TV on it (TV overlay gets fuzzy higher than that) plus I sit a bout 5ft away from the 17 inch monitor - don't get to strain anymore to see the fonts. At work (i.e. school), I'm a normal distance from the screen, so 1024 and up is fine.

I have a HP A4331D 20" monitor 1280x1024@75mhz Only 19" of the monitor is viewable I am running 32bit color using a 128MB GeForce 4 Ti4600 video card I guess it's ok. I think ATI's are clearer though. It looks alot better running 1024x768 but the icons and stuff are huge.

1280x854. Powerbook G4 15" Widescreen.
External 17" LCD not here at the moment.

I can't stand anything much bigger (like on my dell lappy) (1600x1280?)

Will soon be getting a 17" Powerbook G4, maybe a G5 if they ever come out.
