I've noticed that where my antena comes up there are threadings that something should screw on to. It appears that a cap or top of some sort is missing. I believe this piece fills in the gap.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about and where I could buy this piece?

What truck you got? I have the same antenna setup, and mine appears to have a black plastic piece in the same spot.

 

It's a '98 Limited 3.4L.

 

Your missing two peices. The black rubber/plastic that goes and fills the gap, and holds that in place, and then a threaded insert which goes inbetween the rubber peice and your antenna.

 

Dude are you driving my 4runner? I have the same problem on my black 98 limited, it rattles around and is really annoying.

 

LOL. I don't think so considering mine is Silver. Mine doesn't seem to rattle that bad.

 

Where can I buy those two pieces?
