what part is this and can I fix it?

I accidentally broke the plastic nipple (that the vacuum hose connects to) off the part circled in red, I am trying to JB weld it back on. There is a label on the part that says not to lift the supercharger by it, I had to take it off the SC to put the jb weld on it, will this be ok, or did I mess up the "factory tuning" also does anyone know what the part is called and if I can get a replacement if my fix does not work? Thanks

it's called a bypass valve

This valve is vacuum actuated and bypasses the supercharger when the throttle plate is closed enough to generate a preset level of vacuum. With the bypass valve open, the losses associated with the supercharger are negligable (Eaton quotes 1/3 hp losses when cruising at 60mph with an M90 model supercharger) Because of this, if you're easy on the skinny pedal, your mileage will stay the same.

If not functioning properly it will lead to low boost and most likely (although not confirmed) a rich fuel mixture.
