I broke a wire off a brown pigtail at the top rear of my engine while doing valve cover gaskets. It's a '96 Tacoma 3.4L V6.
I cut the other wire and temporarily rigged it with 2 female blade connectors. I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with a fuel pressure regulator due to drawings I've seen. Anyway, I'ld like to identify it so I can try to find a replacement pigtail in order to repair it properly.
Does anyone know what this is for sure? And maybe a link to find a replacement pigtail? The red arrows point to the plug as I currently have it rigged with the two blade connectors.
The two female blade connectors can be seen in the brown plug receptacle.
