What did you pay for your Revo's?

I just called Discount Tires and they quoted me $$800 installed. Firestone quoted $892.94 I then mentioned Tireracks price and they quickly adjusted to $666.72. I am looking at 265/75/16's

I could send you the receipt for mine and see if they will match it??? I paid $575ish mounted and balanced for 265/75-16s. This was in early December if that makes a difference.

A local tire shop. I've been going there for years (not that it matters)

~$120 each installed, local hole-inthe-wall shop. That's for the stock 265 size.

I was hoping it was a national chain. Here in Dallas the local guys have been all but put out of business.

I paid mine for $680 for everything, you know lifetime warranty stuff like that at Firestone, tire size is 275/70/16. Guess is not too bad.

I just got my BFG A/T KO's at Costco for $400 after $60 instant rebate for buying 4 tires. This included mount, balance, lifetime: hazard, balance, rotate, valve stem.....the works. Size 31 10.5 R15! Then I sold my old street tires for $100!

How did you get that rebate? Just for buying 4 tires?

I think I'm going to Costco very very soon.

Anyone in Canada wondering about Revos:

They are $800CDN (about $600USD) installed (incl mount and balance) at Costco up here.
Tire Rack is $120USD / tire + $150USD shipping * 1.342 exch = $844CDN

If you find em cheaper up here, let me know!

North Dallas, eh? Back when I had my '00 and I lived in North Dallas- Arapaho and Tollway area, I took my 4Runner to the NTB on Plano Parkway (at Preston by the IHOP). I bought Michelin Cross Terrains (Revos came out a week later... dammit) and after they quoted me a price, I took a car magazine with the Tire Rack ad in it and they beat the Tire Rack price per tire by $20. Might want to try them... I always use them.

Wink $105 a pop!

Okay, I've been reading about these tires for the past couple weeks since I've been due to replace the stocks on my Tacoma Prerunner. I found this place on Miramar Rd (in San Diego) that sold me the 31x10.50R15 for $105 a piece. Got 'em installed last night. Total bill after road hazard coverage, tax, and installation = $534.74. The guy behind the counter had the same set on his 96 4runner in the parking lot.

It rained all last night and this morning so on my way to work I hit every puddle I could find... so far, so good!!

Here's where I got mine:

Discount is kinda high but I like their sevice (no questions asked) and their prices include everything including the replacement certificates. I got my Yokohamas for $573 for everything.

Well I got my Revo's today. $672 out the door with Certificates. The guy showed me their cost and they pay $124 per tire. All in all I think the deal was fair. BTW I went with C rated tires. I'll have pictures in a minute and post them on the main board.

What made you choose C rated over D rated. Also, did you get 6-ply or 10-ply (is that the C, D thing?)

the guy at Firestone said our Runners don;t need load rated tires so I figured I'd get the load rated C (yes this is the 6-ply). The only thing I may tow is a lite travel trailer.

The total was $760 mounted, balanced, and a couple bucks for disposing of the old tires. Perhaps a bit much, but that was within $5-10 of the best quote I could get in my area. I chose to go with the LT265/75/16's. They are E rated 10ply tires so they should hold up on the trail very well.
